New Years Prayer

Dear Lord,
In the new year, we pray
that You will guide us each new day
in paths that are pleasing to You.
Lord, the new year gives us another chance
to rededicate our lives to You,
to study Your Word
so that we know right from wrong
and to act in accordance with Your commands.
Thank You for the sense of
direction, purpose and peace we get
from aligning our lives with Your Holy will.
We pray for the strength and the will to obey You
each and every day of the new year,
and when we fail, we pray for Your mercy,
Your compassion, Your grace and Your love.
Help us in the new year to be Your faithful servants.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Trust in God

Gods plan has been set. No one knows the minute or hour but God. We must trust in him to provide us with everything we need to guide us to a place where we may find peace. This tragedy has made me realize that we must all take the time to tell one another how we feel about them NOW!! You dont know if you will have another chance. God Bless---You are resting in your fathers arms, MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!!!

God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane We would walk right up to heaven And bring you back again.No farewell words were spoken No time to say goodbye You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you No one will ever know But now we know you want us To mourn for you no more To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store Since you'll never be forgotten We pledge to you today A cherished place within our hearts where you'll always stay.

Let it be spoken without effort without the trace of a shadow in it. Life means all that it ever mean tit is the same as it ever was there is unbroken continuity why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you somewhere very near just around the corner. All is well.

Candle Light

Love is like a candlelight,
Glowing in the dark
The warmness kindles
From a tiny spark.

The light is soft at first,
Then, it grows bright,
For some, it grows over time,
For some, it's love at first sight.

If not taken care of,
The flame will slowly die
